Every year the Spanish department at our school plans a performance highlighting the cultures of Colombia. Each class is taught a dance and is part of a presentation.
Pre-Kinder learned Joropo and spent the past 6 weeks learning the moves to this delightful partner dance. Each girl was crowned as a princess in a character trait (for example obedience or kindness) and danced with her prince. It was adorable. Here are some pictures and a short video clip.
